Ways to work together

Licensing options

Every partnership is shaped around the artwork, product and market. These are the three most common ways we can begin.

Flexible use

Non-exclusive licensing

Artwork may be licensed to more than one company within clearly agreed product categories, territories and time periods.

Reserved use

Exclusive licensing

Selected artwork may be reserved for one partner within defined products, markets, territories or licensing periods.

Made for your brand

Custom artwork

New artwork or coordinated collections can be developed for a specific product, audience, color direction or brand story.

Questions

Licensing FAQ

What is the difference between exclusive and non-exclusive licensing?

Exclusive licensing reserves clearly defined uses for one partner. Non-exclusive licensing allows the artwork to be licensed elsewhere outside any agreed restrictions.

Can colors or scale be adjusted?

Often, yes. Color, scale and repeat adjustments can be discussed based on the artwork and production requirements.

Can artwork be licensed for more than one product?

Yes. Product categories and intended uses can be included in the agreement when the project is scoped.

Do you create custom collections?

Yes. Custom artwork and coordinated collections can be created for a particular audience, product range, palette or brand story.

Are production-ready files provided?

Approved, production-ready artwork files are provided according to the specifications agreed for the licensed use.

Can I request a private portfolio?

Yes. Additional artwork can be shared privately when you tell me about your company and the type of collection you are sourcing.

How are licensing fees determined?

Fees depend on product usage, exclusivity, territory, licensing term and expected distribution. Each opportunity is quoted individually.
